The Night Dance
"Once Upon A Time" (series)
By - Suzanne Weyn
Pages - 194
Wow! I loved this book, it was the first I read in this series but it was enough to hook me. This is the story of the twelve dancing princess'. The author once again added some really fun twists to the story. It takes place in the time of King Arthur, Merlin, and the Lady of the Lake.
As with all fairy tales it has its romance but there are some fun surprises along the way. I really like the way they take an obscure fairy tale and put it into a time period that is more relateable to us.
Every time we read one of these books we find that there is another just around the corner.

# 457 - Water song
"Once Upon A Time" (series)
By Suzanne Weyn
194 pages
This has been such a fun series to read. I've always enjoyed the typical fairy tales but it's tons of fun to see new authors adding a kick and giving them a twist.
In this book we have the story of "The Frog Prince"
The author chose to retell this story in the setting of World War I. An spoiled English girl is our princess and an American solider is our frog. It takes him quite awhile to get his kiss but I think he decides it is worth it in the end. She gave some great twists to the story and I really loved it. My girls and I are hooked on this series. Some are better than others but they've all been enjoyable reads. This is one of my favorites
